BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH is the largest manufacturer of household appliances in Europe and one of the leading companies in this industry in the world. The company was established in 1967 as a joint venture enterprise of Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart'cie and Siemens AG in Munich. In 2013, the company achieved annual revenue of 10.5 billion euros. Today, BSH has 42 factories in 13 countries in Europe, USA, Latin America and Asia. In total, the entire global network of sales and customer service BSH operates 70 companies in 50 countries and employs approx. 50,000 people, of whom more than 70% work in Europe.
Washing machine factory in Lodz was officially opened in 1998. This plant was expanded in 2002 with a modern factory dishwashers. Warehouses in Lodz supply European markets, while the new Logistics Centre in Bukowiec serves as a place of transhipment of products intended for the Polish market. In 2005, in the presence of the highest authorities of the state and the city and region officially opened another investment BSH in Łódź - factory clothes dryers. The factory was established in the Łódź Special Economic Zone. In Lodz manufactured dryers are the newest generation of new interesting design.
While in 2007 there was a grand opening of a new, extremely important and prestigious projects BSH in Poland - Centre for Research and Development, Dryers and Services Centre. They represent a completely new quality investments, primarily because they are investing in technical thought.
